Understanding AI activity and allowances

Open your account settings and choose Subscription & AI Usage. Your activity ledger records AI use by feature, with the saved outcome and available provider measurements. You can export the ledger for a closer look.

Requests and plan allowances

Chippy, receipt scanning, material analysis, research and email AI have separate feature allowances. Monthly allowances renew on UTC month boundaries. Requests admitted before a failure or cancellation can still count, and changing plans does not erase admitted usage for that month.

Check the current allowance in your account before retrying a failed task. A completed request and a successfully saved business change are different outcomes; check Chippy’s result and the saved record.

Cost estimates

Provider cost estimates are shown in USD when the measurements and rates are available. They are separate from your subscription price and are not a customer bill. Missing or unfinished measurements remain marked as such; a missing estimate does not mean the request cost nothing.

Customer metered AI charges are not enabled. Some provider usage still needs final reconciliation, so partial estimates should not be treated as a complete provider invoice.
